		<description>I believe that application virtualisation is being wrapped into the desktop virtualisation wave.  If I understand correctly, VM View 3 due next year comprises both VDI and ThinApp.

Having said that, I agree that they are different and are considered at different times for most businesses.  We are looking at application virtualisation well before we look at the desktop, because you won&#039;t get the benefits of desktop virtualisation as quickly without dealing with application problems first.

Note:  I come from a country who spells words correctly ... hence the difference in spelling virtualisation ;-)</description>
