Microsoft only sells "App-V" within their Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) and MDOP is only available for Microsoft Software Assurance customers. This is in my opinion a strange choice because Microsoft really put's a break on their Application Virtualization strategy like this. What would be the reason? It needs to be said that “App-V” won’t be available for every customer!
